ABOUT
Donnie Johnson is a leadership speaker, sales executive, and former two-sport collegiate All-American whose life has been shaped by resilience, service, and the pursuit of excellence. As an All-American in both football and baseball, he learned early that talent may open doors, but character determines how far you go.
Those experiences became the foundation of The Plus One Culture—a leadership philosophy centered on a simple but powerful idea: Building Teams Where Everyone Elevates Everyone. Through baseball, Donnie discovered that the greatest leaders aren’t always the most talented or the loudest. They’re the ones who consistently make the people around them better.

Today, Donnie serves in Business Development in the heavy equipment industry, leading high-performing teams and helping organizations strengthen their culture through intentional leadership. His passion extends beyond business, as he speaks to athletes, coaches, educators, and corporate leaders about building environments where people grow together, lead with humility, and leave every person better than they found them.
PUBLICATIONS
Big News… It’s Official.
I’m excited to announce that my first book, The Plus One Culture, will be released this fall.
This year, I’ve been putting into words the leadership lessons that have shaped my life—from competing as a two-sport All-American, overcoming a career-threatening shoulder injury, helping build championship teams, and leading in business.
But this isn’t a baseball book.
It’s a book about building cultures where people choose to make everyone around them better.

Whether you’re a coach, business leader, teacher, parent, or teammate, I believe culture is everyone’s responsibility—and every person has the opportunity to add value.

Alongside the release of The Plus One Culture, this website is where you’ll find leadership articles, weekly newsletters, online courses, speaking opportunities, and practical resources designed to help individuals and organizations build championship cultures.

I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged, challenged, and inspired me along the way. Your influence is woven into every page.
Coming this Fall.

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
